Brief: Each year, over 20 million people hear the words: “You have cancer.”

And studies show that hearing this news can immediately weaken the body’s ability to fight the disease. But on the other hand, new research proves that music can reduce stress—and help in the fight against cancer.

So we partnered with Amazon Music and turned music into medicine.

We began by bringing together Grammy-winning artists to share deeply personal stories of their battles with cancer—and the songs they created during those moments. From Blake Shelton, H.E.R., and Imagine Dragons to Lainey Wilson and Bishop Briggs, each artist opened up about their journey of resilience, hope, and how the power of music helped them cope.

These stories and songs of resilience were then curated into a one-of-a-kind playlist—designed to inspire and support patients worldwide.
